This solution is designed for professionals who negotiate directly with hotels or hotel chains: tour operators, online travel agencies, agency networks, DMCs, and travel distributors. It’s useful whenever you manage multiple direct contracts and manually updating them becomes a burden.
A direct contract is negotiated between you and the hotel: you get rates and terms tailored specifically to you. A bedbank (or hotel wholesaler) resells inventory that it has contracted directly from numerous hotels.
Hotel Direct Access manages your direct contracts; to connect bedbanks and other third-party providers, DIGITRIPS Tech offers Travelplugz. Both are included in the Hotel Connectivity Suite.

Very little. You only need to integrate with the Hotel Direct Access API once. After that, the DIGITRIPS Tech teams handle connecting each new hotel or chain, without any additional development required on your part.

The timeline depends primarily on the hotel and its connectivity system (Channel Manager, CRS, or PMS). Your DIGITRIPS Tech representative will provide you with a schedule as soon as you request the connection and will monitor each step until the system goes live.
